Fishing

The Liddel runs through the village, with the Border Esk a little further afield. Both flow through picturesque countryside.

The salmon season opens on 1st April and continues until 31st October. The sea trout season commences on the 1st April and continues until 30th September.

Fishing permits for the Border Esk & Liddel are available for the day or a week. They are also available in the village. There is ample secure storage for any fishing equipment and clothing, please request this prior to arrival.
