The very best of everything.......
The fantastic Scottish Borders scenery surrounding Yethouse will appeal to those who like to blow away the cobwebs out in the fresh air. The many walks will keep you busy, or perhaps some mountain biking would appeal? The world-renowned 7stanes mountain biking trails are just up the road. For the really adventurous our neighbours are Rock UK, an Activity Centre with kayaking, rock climbing, abseiling, swimming and loads more. Horse-riding, golf and fishing are also available.
If all this sounds far too exhausting then curl up by an open fire in one of the sumptuously furnished living rooms. In the summer months you'll enjoy the private garden listening to the curlew and watching the swifts and swallows swoop. During the winter, things are so cosy and comfortable inside you might not want to leave!
Yethouse has a charm that captivates you from the moment you arrive. Guests leave relaxed and rejuvenated. The house is memorable, couple this with the local scenery and hospitality - which is available all year round - and you are in for a truly fabulous break.
We wanted to have a family holiday with our daughters, son in law and grandson Harry and we certainly couldn’t have picked a better place than Yethouse. The accommodation is superb, plenty of space for us all in a really lovely setting. There was something for everyone to do, cycling for Richard, running for Mike, fishing for dad and some pampering nearby for the girls. As for Harry he just had a ball. It was particularly nice to be able to bring the family dogs with us; two old timers Holly and Harvey. They enjoyed some nice strolls from the cottage and loved the enclosed garden. The wild life is amazing, we particularly enjoyed watching the woodpeckers each day. Yethouse was such a lucky find on the internet hopefully we will be back soon.
