Getting to Yethouse

Yethouse is 1.5 miles from Newcastleton Village.

We would urge you to download a map as Sat. Nav. systems have a habit of taking you up a dirt track!

To Drive

From the South
M6 to Carlisle, A7 to Galashiels, turn right at Canonbie, signed to Newcastleton. Follow the B6357 for 10 miles until you approach the village. Immediately after entering the village turn right crossing over the River Liddel. Keep to the left, turn off left from the through road following the signs to the 7Stanes Mountain Bike Trails.

Follow this road up the hill, and turn sharp right continuing to follow the signs to the bike trails. Yethouse is on your left half a mile after crossing the cattle grid. Drive past the farmhouse, which you will see as you approach, to the main drive way. The black metal gate should be closed. Once you have entered please close after you. Follow the drive to the courtyard and park to the left in front of the farmhouse on the left.

From the North
Either via Hawick from the A7, or via Jedburgh on the A68.

Follow the signs into the village, and drive through the village with the sports field on your left, take the left turn over the bridge and cross the River Liddel, follow remaining instructions as above.

The googlemap above can be controlled using the zoom controls to the top left and the map type controls to the top right.
