It is a mass of uncultivated land and as such hosts some spectacular wild and rare flowers. There is a wide variety of wild orchids – eight at the last count. We have adopted the Butterfly Orchid as part of our village logo. If you visit towards the end of June you will spot them along with the Globe Flower a bright yellow marigold of very distinctive appearance. |
