Catering at Yethouse

New for 2016 we are pleased to announce a new service for guests staying with us at Yethouse.

Real fire with red wine

Homemade suppers to order

Tried and tested last year at Dalkeith House where we received rave feedback from guests, we have worked with local team Robin & Linda from the Copshaw Kitchen to prepare an ‘in house dining service’ for Yethouse. Or, equally indulgent but less formal, is the Oven Ready range if you fancy a night off.   See our leaflet for some inspiration, but these are just suggestions to whet your appetite and give you a guide to cost.  Please do call to discuss if you wish to take advantage of our new service. Saves getting out the car so even Dad can enjoy a fine glass of wine with his supper.

Shopping day out in Kelso

Staying with friends locally in Kelso we drifted through the town centre on Friday evening and saw it all lit up in its Christmas coat, which was magical. It inspired us to return to do shopping and what a delight, spent far more than intended!

Getting my husband out of the micro brewery and the beer shop took some doing. But he indulged me in the gallery and the interior shops and I came back laden!

Thank you Kelso for being there. It is a complete joy to visit somewhere that offers what you have; unique, bespoke and variety! All in a hop, skip and a jump of one another. Keep doing what you do, and those tills will keep ringing!

Merry Christmas to all you hard working traders who give us so much. We shall send our visitors to you as we know they will receive a warm welcome.

Thank you Kelso for a great days shopping….  Well worth planning a day out when you stay with us.  Apart from the shopping there are gardens and galleries ….
