The best of everything from your doorstep

Newcastleton village lies close to the English counties of Cumbria and Northumberland; the Lakes, Hadrian’s Wall and Kielder Forest & Water Park are all within easy reach. Fantastic Scottish Borders scenery surrounds Yethouse appealing to those who like to blow away the cobwebs. Walks are bountiful with stunning flora and fauna throughout the year.  If activity appeals the 7stanes mountain bike trails are on the door step and the local activity centre are our neighbours!

Curl up by a real fire in one of the sumptuously furnished living rooms. In the summer months enjoy the garden listening to the curlew, watching swifts and swallows swoop. During the winter, things are so cosy and comfortable inside you might not want to leave!  The village has fishing and golf, tennis and bowling.  There are 2 restaurants, 1 pub and 2 cafes open all year to tempt you.

 Pet friendly holiday

We wouldn’t want to leave any member of the family out; Yethouse is a pet friendly holiday cottage, two well behaved dogs are welcome.

.....“Fantastic range of cycling options for the 7stanes routes through the forest to cross-border trail to Kielder, and the disused old Waverley line route towards Hawick. Great to come back to a cosy, warm, well –equipped cycling-friendly cottage. Thank you for a great break.”....
