A peaceful rural idyll coupled with fabulous views and 
abundant wild life. Yethouse is the middle of nowhere but centre of everywhere. A wonderful stone farmhouse with many of its original features set in its own enclosed gardens. A large lounge with open fire, reading library, Sky (free to air channels only) television, DVD's, CD's and extensive games. A quiet and cosy parlour also with an open fire. Fully equipped modern kitchen with seperate dining. Three bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It is the perfect base for couples, friends and families to relax, unwind and chill out - a warm, cosy rural retreat. For those who get wet and muddy, even when the sun shines, there is a wet area to disrobe and leave your boots. There is a secure lock-up for fishing rods and bikes if you wish to indulge in your passions. One or two very well behaved dogs are also welcome during your stay.
The farmhouse is 1.5 miles from the village of Newcastleton, or Copshaw Holm as it is known locally, where you will find all the amenties you need. There are cafes and restaurants - open all day and all year - to indulge in home baking or great food.
Yethouse is located on the very edge of Newcastleton Forest in Liddesdale. On our doorstep are beautiful walks, cycle tracks and the Newcastleton 7 Stanes mountain bike trails. From every window there are panoramic views of Liddesdale, a place steeped in Borders and Scottish history. There is fishing on the Rivers Esk and Liddel and golf on our challenging, nine hole course.
